Why College Should Not Be Free - Make College Your Only Choice
Why College Should Not Be Free - Make College Your Only ChoiceThe United States economy has been stagnating for over four years now and there are many reasons to the overall failure of the entire country's economy. A majority of the students have been suffering from the previous recession for at least a few years now and some have not even recovered. Some of the students have had to sacrifice their careers and even their family income to pay their college tuition. For this reason, many students do not feel worthy of college tuition and ask why college should not be free. The truth is that most American citizens do not understand that free college does not exist. That should be obvious to every college student. The US government does not offer grants to help pay for your college education or loan programs that will work as a lower interest loan.A further factor why such lack of knowledge exists is that those in charge do not want the country to realize just how badly students need to be educated. It's true, the US government is an entity that is made up of a small group of individuals who have a vested interest in seeing that their own career path is untouched by current events. Most Americans who are behind in their careers do not see this.A matter of fact, it is easier to convince the average person that they should pay higher taxes or see their wages decrease in order to get the best college education available. However, when the entire nation realizes that there is no such thing as free college, many students go out into the world prepared to fight for their dreams. There is no possible way in which the country can afford to drop its all-important educational goals when there are more young adults than ever before ready to graduate with college degrees.Of course, some argue that the higher education system cannot be set up so that everyone can afford to study, but this can only happen if students are allowed to learn at the same level as anyone else. It is qui te clear that there are more things for everyone to learn from when they are offered equal chances to learn.Despite the issues surrounding high college tuition, there is still the hope that someone is in the right for them to get the best education possible. They believe in doing what it takes to achieve their dreams, which includes having the necessary financial support in place to be able to afford such a dream. To the extent that you have been wondering why college should not be free, the answer to that question will surprise you. If you can be hopeful and take control of your future, you can make yourself eligible for what you need to get a quality education for less than you would pay for it otherwise.
